Raphael or Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino (Raphael's real name) was born in Urbino, Marche on April,6th 1483. Rapheal was one of the most famous artist along with Michelangleo , Lenoardo da Vinci. Raphael has painted many paintings but his some of his best work was The School of Athens. Raphael was also an architect. He drew the plans for The St. Peter's Basilica.Raphael died in Rome on April 6th,1520 at age 37.
